Cookie Policy

Last Updated: September 11, 2026

This page explains how gila138 uses cookies and similar data-tracking technologies to provide a functional and secure gaming environment for our users.

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit. They act as a short-term memory for the website, allowing it to recognize your device and remember certain information about your visit. In addition to standard cookies, we may use similar technologies such as local storage—which allows the browser to store larger amounts of data locally—and tracking pixels, which are tiny, invisible images used to monitor page activity.

For a gaming platform, these tools are essential. They allow us to maintain a secure connection between your device and our servers, ensuring that your session remains active while you move between different areas of the site, such as moving from the game lobby to the account settings. Without these technologies, you would be required to re-authenticate your identity every time you clicked a new link.

Types of Cookies We Use

We categorize our cookies based on their purpose. This helps you understand what data is being collected and whether a specific cookie is required for the platform to operate. While some cookies are optional, others are critical for the basic functionality of the site.

Essential Cookies

These are strictly necessary for the site to function. They handle session authentication, security checks, and the payment processing for MYR deposits. If these are disabled, you will be unable to login or use the platform.

Performance Cookies

These collect anonymous data on how visitors interact with the site. They help us identify which pages are slow or which features are confusing, allowing us to optimize the user experience. The site remains fully operational if these are declined.

Functional Cookies

These remember your specific choices, such as your preferred language or recently opened games, so you don't have to reset them manually. Declining these will not break the site, but your preferences will not be saved.

Targeting Cookies

These track browsing habits to show you more relevant content and offers. They help us deliver a personalized experience based on your interests. You can opt out of these without affecting your ability to play.

How We Use Cookies

The data collected through cookies allows gila138 to operate efficiently and securely. We utilize this information in the following ways:

Session Management Maintaining your authenticated state so you stay logged in across various pages of the website.
Preference Storage Storing your customized settings and layout choices to ensure a consistent experience upon return.
Security and Fraud Prevention Detecting multi-account abuse and identifying unusual login patterns to protect user accounts.
Usage Analytics Measuring page traffic and user flows to understand which parts of the site require improvement.
Personalized Offers Presenting relevant promotional materials based on your interaction history with our platform.

Third-Party Cookies

In addition to cookies set by gila138, we allow certain trusted third-party service providers to place cookies on your device. These typically fall into three categories: analytics providers who help us measure traffic, advertising partners who manage promotional visibility, and payment gateway services that ensure secure financial transactions.

These providers operate under their own independent privacy and cookie policies. Because we do not control these external cookies, we encourage you to review the policies of the specific service providers you interact with while using our site.

How to Manage or Disable Cookies

You have full control over the cookies stored on your device. Most modern web browsers provide straightforward ways to block or delete cookies through their settings menus.

Google Chrome Settings > Privacy and security > Third-party cookies.
Safari Settings > Safari > Privacy > Block All Cookies.
Mozilla Firefox Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.
Microsoft Edge Settings > Cookies and site permissions > Manage and delete cookies and site data.

You may also use "Incognito" or "Private" browsing modes, which automatically delete cookies once the window is closed. However, please be aware that this will require you to log in every time you start a new session.

Important Notice: Blocking all cookies, including essential ones, will disable core functions of the site. You will be unable to access your account, complete deposits, or use the download app features.

Cookie Consent & Your Choices

Your primary method of managing cookie preferences is through the browser settings described above. Where our platform presents a cookie notice, you may use the provided options to express your preferences.

Regarding your data rights, we recognize the importance of privacy. Where provided by applicable laws in Malaysia, users may request access to their data, correction of inaccuracies, or the deletion of stored information. For a comprehensive understanding of our overall legal framework, please refer to our Terms & Conditions.

Updates to This Cookie Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology or legal requirements. When updates occur, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check this section periodically to stay informed about how we handle your device data.
